Sitting back and hoping to grind out a result is not his way and while that will leave them vulnerable at times, the visitors should provide a threat to the leaders here. What does look certain, given what we’ve seen so far, is that Gary O’Neil will set his side up to have a go when they can. Bournemouth and Everton have been defeated on the road but this is a level above that. Wolves have beaten Manchester City and Spurs in recent weeks, albeit both matches were played at home. Still, backing up so quickly after such a game can be tricky, especially when your opponents have had two days more preparation. The Gunners may not have hit the same performance-level heights as last season but they’ve been very effective and Wednesday’s 6-0 demolition of Lens in the Champions League had them purring again. Arsenal could lead the Premier League by four points come Saturday night but to do so they will have to defeat a Wolves side who haven’t been cowed by big-name opposition.
